Ghost Hunt Copper Hill Mine/Mill Site Globe June 4, 2011

Background: During the 1950’s it is alleged that devil worshipers went to this site, with its abandoned concrete structures, and performed rituals which may have included killings. The story as related to me is that back in the 50’s a group of devil Worshipers went to the abandoned buildings to commit ritual killings in hope of gaining the trust of the devil.

So Jack started stating woman’s names starting with names starting with the letter E. After exhausting all the E. names Jack suddenly said the name Edwina and all the lights on the meter lit up. As a result of a lengthy interview with “Edwina” Jack received many responses. “Edwina” stated that she was killed at this location during the 1950s. Just prior to each time the meter lit up Jack said he got goose bumps and the hair on his arms stood up. Tim came over and his meter also received several responses to the questions asked of “Edwina.” After about ½ hour the responses got weaker and finally stopped.

The McMahon Group Appearance

I was on the McMahon Group this Tuesday with the legendary Pat McMahon, talking about my new book Superstition Cowboys.  I wish I had all day to tell Pat all of my stories.

I got just a few minutes to talk about Tom Mix and Ned Fales and just a few seconds to talk about Molly Bailey.  I wanted to get to Gene Autry, Dale Evans, Roy Rogers and Leo the MGM Lion but there wasn't enough time.

Ned Fales Ghost story

Background: Several times over the years voices have been heard from the headframe/shaft area of the Silver King Mine

Investigative Notes: Several voices seemed to come from the old mine shaft. The K2 EMF Meters were activated for several minutes. It appeared that 10 entities from the 1880s and early 1900s were present in the shaft. Voice recordings were made also.
Silver King Hotel site: Fales O’Boyle Feud & Shootout

Background: Billy O’Boyle was the proprietor at a well-appointed hotel and restaurant at Silver King. In his eating-place O’Boyle had as one of his waitresses a young and good-looking Irish girl, of whom he thought a great deal; in fact O’Boyle was extremely jealous of any attentions paid by other men to the attractive waitress.

A frequent visitor to Silver King was Ned Fales, a cowboy. Ned Fales was a colorful cowboy, typical of the sort that is frequently found in sensational wild- west stories. He was handsome and educated and, despite the fact that he made it a common practice to ride into a saloon on horseback and shoot out the lights, he was a favorite among the women of the little town of Silver King, as well as among those living in the nearby town of Pinal. The pretty Irish girl (Katie) in O’Boyle’s restaurant held a high place in the esteem of the cowboy and the fact that she apparently thought very well of him may have had something to do with the animosity that that gradually came to exist between Fales and O’Boyle. At any rate, harsh words were exchanged.

Paranormal Investigations Historic Florence, Arizona

Friday August 13, 2010

Paranormal Investigators-Jack San Felice, Tom Foster, Grace Guerra, Sabrina Guerra, Akira Benetiz, Tim Methena, and Dana Boyer

Quest: The Ghost to Ghost paranormal investigators were asked to go to Historic Florence, Arizona to check out some strange occurrences as well as conduct some independent investigations at the request of member Jack San Felice regarding some sites, where a lynching and a classic gun-fight took place.

Objectives: To attempt to speak to any entities there and/or record their voices, or determine their presence with the EMF Meter or similar equipment and voice recorders, as well as photo and/or record any strange occurrences.

Reporter: Jack San Felice

Florence Cemetery-Joe Phy Grave-

Background: Joe Phy was killed in a shootout with Pete Gabriel at the Tunnel Saloon on Florence’s main street on May 31, 1888. Joe was at one time a deputy sheriff who worked for Sheriff John Peter (Pete) Gabriel. They had a falling out based on Pete’s jealousy of his young wife and the fact that Pete did not support Joe for the sheriff’s election. Joe was defeated and the two became mortal enemies.

Investigation: After driving to the gravesite where Joe Phy’s headstone was located the group attempted to make contact with Joe Phy. Both voice recorders and EMF Meters were used. After about 1 & ½ hours we left the site. Jack did get minimal activity on his EMF. Grace stated that the spirit of Joe Phy did not respond to the women who were at the site. Tom saw the grave of a young infant close to Phy’s grave and seemed to be drawn back to it. It was a sad place for him and he believes that it was a late 1870s grave.

Tunnel Saloon Site on Main Street Florence

Background: Site of the famous 1888 shootout between Joe Phy and Pete Gabriel at the Tunnel Saloon and is now an open lot.

Investigation: Some activity was noted on Jack’s EMF Meter and voice recordings were attempted at the rear of the building at about the site on the vacant lot where the underground Tunnel saloon was located. When it was asked if Pete Gabriel was there Jack got some activity on his EMF Meter. It seemed also that Grace was getting some activity on her voice recorder, but unknown what entity was involved.

Paranormal Investigation Old Florence Courthouse

Florence, Arizona— October 27, 2010

Paranormal Investigators: Jack San Felice, Grace Guerra, Tom Foster-& Courthouse coordinator Ernie Feliz from Pinal County

Investigative Reporter: Jack San Felice

Quest: To conduct an investigation of the old courthouse in Florence. Channel 3 TV News Station reporter from Phoenix Brandy Aguilar accompanied us.
Objectives: -To attempt to speak to any entities listed below and/or record voices or determine their presence with the EMF K2 Meter or equipment listed below.

Background: The entity’s or spirits we searched for were: Pearl Hart & Joe Boot-stagecoach robbers 1899; Tom Weedin-AZ Enterprise Editor & Dutch Hunter; Charles P. Mason-Deputy Sheriff; Jack Keating-Saloon Owner; Stuttering Jack McCoy-posse member & nephew of Billy O’Boyle-owner of Silver King Hotel at SK who was killed by Ned Fales; Jere Fryer-Pinal County Sheriff; Pauline Cushman-former confederate spy, actress & wife of Jere Fryer; Pete Gabriel-former Pinal County Sheriff; AJ Doran-former Pinal County Sheriff & builder of courthouse; Manuel Rameriz-noted citizen; Levi Ruggles-Florence founder; Mike Rice-Jailer; Eva Dugan-Murderess; Winnie Ruth Judd-trunk murderess-had hearing at courthouse; Jim Creighton-courthouse architect.

Investigation: The Investigators and the Channel 3 News reporter along with a Camera Man first walked the entire area of the old courthouse while it was still daylight. Jack San Felice then gave an overview interview to Channel 3. We then attempted to make contact with any entity at the site of the old jail within the courthouse. No contact was made. We then proceeded to the basement where Jack observed some strange feelings and Tom registered a cooler temperature. It seems that the courthouse was built over an old graveyard and perhaps the spirits of some the departed are still located there.

We then proceeded to the old Courtroom when we recorded some contacts on the K2 Meters along the way to the old Judge’s bench. While at the bench we made numerous K-2 contacts with Winnie Ruth Judd. Tom also had a recorded lower temperature at this site. Grace had her Infrared Camera set up near the old stairwell at the top of the courthouse, but it recorded no images.

Summary: Although we did not make contact with many entities we made continuous strong contact with Winnie Ruth Judd, who responded well to the questions asked by immediately activating the lights on the K2 Meter. Channel 3 News Reporter Brandy Aguilar had a synopsis of this investigation aired on Channel 3 News Phoenix on Friday night, October 29, 2010 and it was received very well by many who saw it.

Equipment. K2— EMF Meters, Digital recorders and cameras, temperature recorder, TV News video camera, and an Infrared camera.
